Fastest Cars In The World: Top 10 List 2010-2011

1. Bugatti Veyron: 267 mph, 0-60 in 2.5 secs. Aluminum, Narrow Angle 8 Liter W16 Engine with 1200 hp, base price is $1,700,000. Tested again on July 10, 2010 with the new 2010 Super Sport Version, the Bugatti Veyron once again claimed its title as the fastest car in the world at 267 mph.

2. SSC Ultimate Aero: 257 mph, 0-60 in 2.7 secs. Twin-Turbo V8 Engine with 1183 hp, base price is $654,400. Tested in March 2007 by Guinness World Records, The SSC Ultimate Aero was the fastest car in the world from March 2007 to July 2010 until recently it fell behind the Bugatti Veyron to take the #2 spot.

3. Saleen S7 Twin-Turbo: 248 mph, 0-60 in 3.2 secs. Twin Turbo All Aluminum V8 Engine with 750 hp, base price is $555,000. Smooth and bad-ass, will make you want to show it off non-stop.

4. Koenigsegg CCX: 245 mph, 0-60 in 3.2 secs. 90 Degree V8 Engine 806 hp, base price is $545,568. Made in Sweden, it is aiming hard to be the fastest car in the world, but it has a long way to go to surpass the Bugatti and the Ultimate Aero.

5. McLaren F1: 240 mph, 0-60 in 3.2 secs. BMW S70/2 60 Degree V12 Engine with 627 hp, base price is $970,000. Check out the doors, they looks like bat wings, maybe Batman need to order one and paints it black

6. Ferrari Enzo: 217 mph, 0-60 in 3.4 secs. F140 Aluminum V12 Engine with 660 hp, base price is $670,000. Only 399 ever produced, the price goes up every time someone crashes.

7. Jaguar XJ220: 217 mph, 0-60 in 3.8 secs. Twin Turbo V6 Engine with 542 hp, base price was $650,000. Made in 1992, this car still got what it takes to make the list.

8. Pagani Zonda F: 215 mph, 0-60 in 3.5 secs. Mercedes Benz M180 V12 Engine with 650 hp, base price is $667,321. With a V12 motor, this baby can do much better.

Sinopsis

Novel ini memaparkan kisah pasangan suami isteri, Kamarudin seorang tentera dan Salmah,yang mempunyai sepasang anak kembar Faridah dan Rahayu. Apabila Kamarudin ditugaskan sebagai Pegawai Pemerintah di Pengkalan Hulu di Perak, dia telah berkahwin dengan Hamidah. Kamarudin diarahkan bertugas sebagai Atase Keselamatan di Pejabat Kedutaan Malaysia di Pontianak, Indonesia. Di sinilah bermulanya perpisahan pasangan kembar tersebut. Kamarudin telah membawa Rahayu tinggal bersama-samanya, manakala Faridah dijaga oleh Salmah.

Setelah dewasa, Rahayu berkawan dengan Azrul yang sama-sama belajar di Fakulti Ekologi Manusia, UPM. Faridah menjadi Sukarelawan PDK Suria. Rahayu telah dikejarkan ke Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia kerana pengsan di perpustakaan. Rahayu disahkan menghidap kanser. Faridah pula membawa kanak-kanak istimewa ke Bukit Fraser. Sebelum pulang Faridah pergi ke Raub untuk mengisi minyak van dan membeli beberapa keperluan untuk perjalanan pulang pada pukul 2 petang nanti. Akibat terkejut dengan kehadiran Iqbal di dalam van, Faridah gagal mengawal pergerakan van, dan melanggar tembok pengadang jalan lalu menjunam ke dalam gaung. Faridah dan Iqbal tidak dapat dikesan oleh pasukan penyelamat. Setelah dua minggu usaha menyelamat gagal, operasi menyelamat dihentikan. Namun, bapanya, Kamarudin dan rakannya, Buyung berusaha meredah hutan mencari Faridah dan Iqbal. Mereka dijumpai di perkampungan orang Asli di Sungai Dua. Faridah dimasukkan ke hospital yang sama dengan Rahayu dalam keadaan koma. Rahayu melawat Faridah dan dia menghembuskan nafasnya yang terakhir di sisi Faridah. Selepas kematian Rahayu dan tamat pengajian di universiti, Azrul berhasrat menjadi penternak kambing yang berjaya, sebagaimana yang dicita-citakan oleh Rahayu semasa mereka sama-sama belajar.

Setelah sihat, Faridah berkahwin dengan Pegawai Kebajikan Masyarakat bernama Ghazali. Tidak lama kemudian Salmah, ibu kepada Faridah dan Rahayu meninggal dunia kerana terlalu rindu akan Rahayu. Selepas itu, Ghazali pula meninggal dunia akibat kemalangan. Kemudian Faridah ditawarkan mengikuti kursus Community Services for Disable People di New Zealand selama enam bulan. Di situlah dia berkahwin dengan Soleh Johnsons dan dia terus menetap di sana. Mereka mendapat sepasang anak kembar, iaitu Melina dan Anne.

Melina berkenalan dengan Jabbar al – Anbia atau dikenali sebagai „Benny‟. Secara tidak sengaja, Anne pula bertemu dengan Zain yang membantunya semasa keretanya rosak. Akhirnya Melina berkahwin dengan Benny di Masjid al-Noor, Christchurch. Mereka berpindah ke Malaysia kerana Benny ditugaskan menerajui operasi minyak di situ. Mereka menetap di Terengganu. Di Malaysia, Benny berkawan baik dengan Mohamed Attar dan Mehmood yang cenderung mencapai sesuatu matlamat berhubung dengan Islam secara kekerasan. Muhamed Attar telah ditangkap oleh pihak berkuasa Interpol kerana disyaki terlibat dengan aktiviti pengganas. Benny yang bimbang akan keselamatan dirinya telah melarikan diri ke Dubai dengan bantuan keluarganya.
Faridah dan Soleh pulang ke Malaysia untuk berbincang tentang perkahwinan Anne dan Zain. Mereka menginap di Cameron Highlands. Di situlah Faridah mengetahui bahawa Zain ialah anak lelaki bekas teman lelaki adiknya, arwah Rahayu. Majlis perkahwinan mereka berlangsung dengan meriah.

Akhirnya, Melina yang sedang sarat mengandung ke Dubai bersama-sama dengan ayahnya, Soleh untuk berjumpa dengan Benny. Melina dan Benny menetap di Dubai. Anne dan Zain pula mengambil alih syarikat penternakan keluarga Johnson di New Zealand. Datuk Azrul dan Soleh Johnsons membuka perniagaan kotej di Cameron Highlands.

Novel: The Curse

“The Curse” is about a girl, named Azreen, her parents and sister, Madhuri. Azreen, a strong-headed girl is studying in London but has to take a leave from her study when she receives the news about her sister’s death. She is curious about the cause of her sister’s sudden death. When she reaches home, her sister’s body has been brought to the cemetery. She overhears a village gossiper, Puan Normala talks about her sister’s death. Normala claims that her sister has been murdered and has shed white blood. 

On her return, Azreen discovers a few truths about her family and people around her. First she finds out that her sister has been in love with Asraf, and has planned to marry and divorced her husband, Hj Ghani. Second, Awang, the Shaman has actually caused the accident which his parents are involved in and causes her mother to become paralysed. Third, she learns that Madhuri is actually her adopted sister and the crazy woman is Madhuri’s biological mother. Fourth and finally, she discovers that Madhuri has accidentally been killed by her father.

There is one old woman whom Azreen has turned to for emotional support. The old woman lives alone in an abandoned house in the jungle. Azreen learns a lot about life from this wise old woman. The old woman however dies in a fire started by Asraf who has blamed her for his grandmother’s death.

At the end, Azreen returns to London to finish her study. She has learned a valuable lesson from her short break at her little village in Langkawi Island. She has learned to forgive others and to look ahead.

The line-up for the Man’s Team is very strategic! As a Chess team captain for many years, I think it is very important to have a strategic line-up for a team event especially if it is a round-robin format. In order to maximize the result, one might not need to put the line-up by strength. Sometimes, you can field a stronger player at the bottom line up so that he can deliver the winning point. It is like putting your 1st single to play 3rd single in a badminton match. I think the Malaysia team is relying on Mas and Mok to deliver either 1 or 2 points. A 3rd point will decide whether a win or a draw for the team.

The lady team line-up looks confused. The lady team should aim to provide experience for younger players. Results are not important, we should focus on give them time to learn and probably look 2012 or 2014. The experience Wahiduddin or Roslina should stay as an observer and guide the younger players to improve.

Pagi 24 November 2010 sgt aku tunggu2...sambil itu..perasaan takut bercampur baur sampai da nk jd ais kacang da...haha..aku nk g amek test undang-undang la sbanrnye...takot seyh..time nak pegi sane(myeg),cik tumin(guru PL Intensif) bagi tau yg pg2 da ade org failed amek ujian tu...aku,yohes n si paan ni pon naek takot la jadinya..takot fail...smpi je sane kitorg gi amek no. giliran...aku dpt no 1049...time tu baru je sampai giliran yg ke 1028...igtkn kejap je..skali dekat 2 jam da...naseb baek ade restoran Mamak kt situ...kalau tak da mati kebuluran si yohes ni tak sarapan...paling lawak time smpi sane ramai giler org yg baru nk amek undang2...tp dtg bwk motor sendiri...ape punye pesen da...tunggu punye tunggu..smpi la no. aku...dgn perasaan gundah-gulana aku g kt kaunter tu then bg smart card kt akak tu...da tu bayar pulak RM10 nak amek gambar...tk kisahla...pstu aku pon masuk bilik ujian tu...tiba2 perasaan takot tu hilang seyh..nk tau pasal ape..?soalan dia boleh tahan kacang panggang la...dlm 20 minit je kot aku jwb berbanding mase yg dia kasi 45 minit...tp aku tak kuar dulu...aku tunggu dak2 ni(yohes n paan) abes jawab dulu...then kitorg submit result tu same2..tp paan lmbt sket psl lmbt masuk...sblom submit tu aku siap bace doa dulu kt dpn PC tu...haha..lantak ar org nk tgk...naseb baek aku lulus...dgn cemerlang beb..!!haha...paan pon lulus gak..tp syg yohes kurg 1 je lg nk lulus...esok dia g amek balik...sedih macha tu..!! aku pon kuar bilik tu dgn muka menang..haha..!!happy gilerr...to yohes: Gud luck for tomorrow....

Happy Birthday To Me....*18 November 2010*

haha...genap sudah umurku mencecah 16 tahun...lepas amek buku teks kt skola...aku ngan membe2 aku terus cabut balik rumah....lepas tu plan pegi celebrate birthday aku...tak g jaoh2 pon..setakat kt Plaza Tasek yg lebih kurang 2 langkah je dr rumah aku....mule2 kitorg pegi Game City....budak2 nih nak sgt maen Dytona...aku malas je nak maen...(tau2 jela..)..dah tu geram pulak tgk snooker kt ctu...cuba la maen kejap dlm 30 minit...best jugak...da maen tu rase lapar la pulak..pegi mkn McD kt tingkat bawah...lepas tu bergerak ke stesen seterusnya iaitu KBox( pusat karaoke).....lebih kurang 2 jam jugak kitorg menyumbangkan lagu kt dlm tu...naseb baek ade kupon tukar air kitorg beli..dpt la sket membasahkn tekak.yg hampir cedera tu...tgk lah budak2 dlm gmbr ni...nilah suasana dlm KBox ni...asyik sungguh...habis je karaoke, pegi balek ke pusat snooker tu...kali ni maen lame sket...maklumlah adik si Arrvin nii nk blanje...maen la dlm 1 jam gitu...huh, penat jugak...tp fun giler la...walaupun mase pendek..tp rase mcm lame gile...anyway thanks to all my friends..Yohes,Imran,Saiful,Arrvin,Sharven n Ryans....mmg ROCK brader,,,,...!!!!

diam tak diam sesi persekolahan tahun 2010 hampir tamat...tinggal 2 hari je lg hari persekolahan..esok 18 November 2010, aku akan ke sekolah utk mengambil buku teks pinjaman bg sesi 2011...mungkin lepas tu aku n member2 enjoy2 je kot kt dlm kelas coz da tak blaja lg...bg pelajar2 SMKTMR silalah hadir ke sekolah "kesayangan" anda esok utk mengambil buku teks...
